OCCUPIED. BLOCK DDL GELMINI! POLITICAL SCIENCE

This is the students' response to Gelmini a bill that virtually eliminates the right to study with a 90% cut in scholarships to open the way for loans, and then raising the tax indebtedness of students with the banks. Solving the cuts by the university students in debt is drawing the government and Confindustria, supported by the barons. Yet another gift to the banks themselves responsible for the crisis that is sweeping Europe, while the commons are being dismantled, and who is paying for the crisis, are asked for further sacrifices.

We are in permanent mobilization, and we are not afraid to go into the streets on Mondays and Tuesdays to permanently block this bill.
The Education Minister Maria Stella Gelmini dear invites us to read "carefully and without prejudice" this bill "focuses on the interests of students and the right to education" and that "finally introduces a system of objective evaluation that rewards excellence and encourages the quality of research "... we reply that maybe she is having to read!
The so-called "reform" in fact only provides the increase in the power of the barons with a centralized structure of governance, and disappear the open-ended contracts for researchers and is further aggravated the precarious position of the current research is planned as the cumulation of research grants.
It says nothing about the technical and administrative staff, but provides for the merger of the departments with the result that any transfers of workers in each university will be decided by the bosses.
opens the door to businessmen, politicians and bankers, allowing them to be part of the Board of Directors that is to administer public money to private interests without risking a €. Delete
actually the right to study with a 90% cut in scholarships to open the way for loans, to raising taxes and then the students' indebtedness with the banks. Solving the cuts by the university students in debt, the design of the government and Confindustria, supported by the barons. Yet another gift to the banks themselves responsible for the crisis that is sweeping Europe, while the commons are being dismantled, and who is paying for the crisis, are asked for further sacrifices.
At the invitation of our Minister Gelmini to "open a constructive dialogue" we reply that the only possible dialogue is that it starts by listening to the interests and actual needs of students, researchers, investigators and precarious of all workers in the knowledge we want balanced taxes, not outlaws, and appropriate scholarships (with the consequent elimination of student debt), we want research funding because it means the quality of teaching and no more frammmentazione mere accumulation of knowledge and notional, we want to tackle the privileges and power of the barons and we want security and stability for all knowledge workers, we do not want a university based on a false meritocracy, but we want based on the sharing of knowledge!

Appeals for the mobilization of Monday 29 and Tuesday, November 30

The days of intense protests across Italy (24 and November 25), marked by demonstrations, by the imagination of students and the violence of the riot, and the trouble of majority, have imposed a new referral to the House vote on the bill Gelmini, now forecast for Tuesday, November 30.
Recently, we have demonstrated a willingness to oppose a government that destroys the public university and research and which is incapable of giving real answers to an economic crisis, we have claimed the actions of protest and expression of dissent resisting charges violent forces of (dis) order led by the Ministry of Interior Maroni. We are in permanent mobilization, and we are not afraid to go into the streets on Mondays and Tuesdays to permanently block this bill.
Non dice nulla riguardo il personale tecnico-amministrativo, ma prevede l'accorpamento dei dipartimenti con la conseguenza that any transfers of workers in each university will be decided by the bosses.

"Dimissioni!" The budget that leaves us this day is 7 * student injured, the largest active and conscious participation of the university and the common belief that the bill should be withdrawn. For this knowledge to attend the meeting tomorrow, November 25 at 12.30 in the Faculty of Physics to decide on the next protests against the reform, the adoption of which the chamber has been postponed to Tuesday, November 30. The government is increasingly weak, let's give him a shove! As opposition to a reform that effectively eliminates the right to study with a cut of 90% alle borse di studio per aprire la strada ai prestiti d'onore, all'innalzamento delle tasse e quindi all'indebitamento degli studenti con le banche.

ANOTHER AMENDMENT THAT THE VA DDL 'RETIRED!

[here the appeal of city studies]

On 17 November, studentimedi and academics from all over Europe take to the streets during the day studi.Il 18 for the right to begin the discussion of the bill in the House Gelmini reform of 'universities, which should end with the 26' final approval.

The guidelines of the bill?

More privileges for the barons , privatization, less funded research and more precarious, with banks borrowing for students, fewer rights for workers. Remain the cuts in funding of higher education and scholarships to (-90%) in the financial decided.

It know ... ... crisis and there is (only us) we must make sacrifices ...

-80% funding for exhibitions and museums (pompei thanks), the water has already been privatized (Ronchi Decree), the salaries of state have been frozen, the workers must work harder with fewer rights, precarious must adapt (alive and flexibility).

But the sacrifices are not required at all.

For unnecessary war missions 1 billion is expected euro more, not to mention the € 15 billion of that cost us the F35. For banks and finance who caused the crisis? No action. To industry? Many separate agreements, with the blessing of Bonanno and Angeletti.

The possible scenarios?

Who can afford it will pay tuition fees and do research through the recommendations of Dad, maybe in the military field with projects financed by Finmeccanica. The others? Borrow from banks to a degree without the guarantee of a job and an income but with the certainty of a debt, many internship and unnecessary vocational training courses (run by CL or CISL). Or waive 'universities now looking for work. The only safe place? The army! 60-year € 70 thousand for the peace-keeping abroad (other than Erasmus).

Wedding Program Words Departed

The CAIL (self-organized collective fight academy in-Palermo) expresses solidarity with the greatest companions of the collective rescue of Catanzaro hit by the double action fascist who always sees more complicity between institutions and fascist squads. Today more than ever it is necessary to include students, workers and the masses in general this complicity and destroy the wrong positions even within the sectors in struggle (see students, temporary workers, etc.) that feed common thoughts, and pacifism that expire in ' immobility.
What has happened to fellow Catanzaro is striking and must be seen in the overall context of what is happening, the police state moves forward, the modern Fascism grows and strengthens the support and defense of the neo-fascist organizations by the institutions. Against fascism, not advancing a step back.
We hope that the companion is "good" as soon as possible and give maximum support militant.

release of October 31, 2010 assassination attempt of a companion
The Rescue Collective intends to rebuild and bring clarity to what happened last Saturday, October 30 in the vicinity of our headquarters, where there were two vile fascist attacks with subsequent attempted murder of our comrade.
was ongoing initiative to publish the submission of a revised counter. At about 21:30 we saw from the window a bunch of fascists who started to provoke with choirs, insults and threats. Our verbal representations to the fascist group began to approach, hurling a brick into a window, behind which si trovavano due ragazze facilmente visibili dall’esterno, rompendone pericolosamente i vetri.
We retain as a symbol of tradition and the labor movement and peasant struggles. And even in this case, instead of looking elsewhere that the blade had hurt our partner, their focus was on that old farm tools, for which we were charged with "illegal possession of weapon." The search lasted about two hours. Soon after we were forcibly transferred to the police station for "questioning" or better to make summary information, which lasted almost until 8 o'clock in the morning.
Our friend was stabbed in emergency surgery for serious wounds, wounds that just a lucky chance, did not have irreversible consequences.
is no longer acceptable that such incidents might be considered simple Saturday night brawls or gang wars. Recall that the fascists in the city have claimed numerous attacks in recent years, resulted in violence and racial intolerance and political life, still remained unpunished for the silence of the institutions.
We therefore call on all nationals to be vigilant and to mobilize to prevent such despicable and serious incidents will no longer have to repeat itself. COLLECTIVE

The attack continued with the failed attempt to storm the premises of our office. Despite the incident, once dileguatisi the fascists, it was decided to complete the planned initiative.
spent a couple of hours, however, we noticed that again, the group of fascists, this time more numerous, was approaching menacingly at the entrance of our headquarters. We came out and told them to leave so as not to cause further disruption to families in the neighborhood. In a new attack that followed, during which one of the group pulled a knife from his pocket and with great lucidity and determination has impressed our companion with two blows to the back. What occurred was as sudden as premeditated, so much so that soon after the dastardly act, the group ricompattatosi, immediately began to move away. We immediately took our friend to the emergency room. Once there we were bombarded by questions from police, who instead of identifying the attackers, identified the attacked! After that, the same police decided to search our site looking for "weapons and explosives," search that ended with the seizure of a small old rusty scythe now, we have preserved as a symbol of tradition and struggles of movement of workers and peasants.
