Appeals for the mobilization of Monday 29 and Tuesday, November 30
The days of intense protests across Italy (24 and November 25), marked by demonstrations, by the imagination of students and the violence of the riot, and the trouble of majority, have imposed a new referral to the House vote on the bill Gelmini, now forecast for Tuesday, November 30.
Recently, we have demonstrated a willingness to oppose a government that destroys the public university and research and which is incapable of giving real answers to an economic crisis, we have claimed the actions of protest and expression of dissent resisting charges violent forces of (dis) order led by the Ministry of Interior Maroni. We are in permanent mobilization, and we are not afraid to go into the streets on Mondays and Tuesdays to permanently block this bill.
The Education Minister Maria Stella Gelmini dear invites us to read "carefully and without prejudice" questo disegno di legge che "mette al centro gli interessi degli studenti e il diritto allo studio" e che "introduce finalmente un sistema di valutazione oggettivo che premia il merito e favorisce la qualità della ricerca"... noi rispondiamo che forse è lei a doverlo leggere!
La cosidetta “riforma” infatti prevede solo l'aumento del potere dei baroni grazie ad una struttura centralistica di governance, mentre scompaiono i contratti a tempo indeterminato per i ricercatori e viene ulteriormente aggravata la posizione degli attuali ricercatori precari in quanto è prevista la cumulabilità degli assegni di ricerca.
Non dice nulla riguardo il personale tecnico-amministrativo, ma prevede l'accorpamento dei dipartimenti con la conseguenza that any transfers of workers in each university will be decided by the bosses.
