Monday, October 11 we asked the Dean of Political Science Faculty Council to convene an extraordinary open to students and employees on Oct. 20 to take a position with respect to the cuts and the university ddl Gelmini.
Yesterday the Board of Faculty has spoken: communication as the Dean has decided to open a discussion with students in conclusion the next Faculty Council ordinary. While it is deemed important to the opening of the council, we think the decision by leaders of the House, or slippage in the classroom discussion of the bill in December, is a sign of weakness of the government and therefore a reason to generalize the protest movement in schools and universities until the final withdrawal of the Bill and Gelmini reintregro cut funds for the university in 2008.
After contacting the precarious researchers, workers and other realities student of the Faculty of Political Science, and in agreement with them, we decided to convene Wednesday, October 20 at 12:30 pm General Faculty Assembly, which invite, in addition to students, temporary workers and researchers, even those teachers and researchers who wish to escape the logic of the barons and corporate support for the bill or waiting for some crumbs to hold new contests.
